"After a career working in industry, at the tender age of 51 I decided to pack it all in and follow my lifelong passion. Porsche motor cars. I would describe myself as an expert enthusiast, but one who has spent many, many years restoring and working on all Porsche models and classic cars- first out of the necessity of being young and needing extra money (as you do at that age!) and then as a hobby that began to take up more and more of my time.
That’s when I realised that it was what I want to do for a living, full stop. And always did really, I guess since I first put that 964 Turbo poster on the bedroom wall… I have always loved working on Porsches.
I have 28 years of Porsche ownership under my belt myself and in-depth knowledge and experience of looking after everything from air cooled 911’s from the 70’s, through front engined cars from the 80’s right up to Boxsters and modern 911’s from the 90s.I tend to concentrate on 996 / 997 / 987 and older cars although I will happily work on new cars from the present day too. My aim is to create a hub where local enthusiasts can come and have their cars cared for and looked after by someone they can trust. Someone who shares their passion for Porsche and classic cars. Somewhere they feel that they can ask questions without feeling awkward. Somewhere they can even learn how to do the jobs themselves if they want to!
